Now I'm proud, somehow
It seems I'm being a little biased. A silver for Lee Chong Wei seems nothing to me. Instead, a bronze by our Goshin-Ryu senior Lim Lee Lee made me proud.
No wait, maybe I should call them sensei instead of senior.
Ku Jin Keat won Malaysia's seventh gold medal at the Asian Games in the Karate men's individual Kata, while Lim Lee Lee won bronze in the women's (In fact two out of nine golds for Malaysia now are from Karate).
Felt so proud of them. Probably because Sir used to talk about them at our trainings last time. For a reason or so, I looked up to them pretty much. Even a bronze in Kata made me feel wow. I guess this shows I know Karate better than badminton? Or it's because I play/train the sport. I feel it. Like the feel of standing on the sparring ground with an opponent when three judges and a referee are looking at you.
Either way, I'm proud to be a Goshin-Ryu student, and am proud of the Goshin-Ryu's who did well at the Asian Games. :)
