I was never good with directions and it took me quite awhile to recall that Park Royal was the very hotel I had spent the last days of 2010 working at. Not just the weak memory, I've been to so many hotels due to work last December that I couldn't remember which was which(sadly, still). Good thing I realised just in time for me to not get lost during this adventure of mine.

Difference is, the first time I worked as a part of the entertainment industry; while the second time I was part of a sports/journalism circle. For work, same place, different cause. Felt really new and good(because I was already so familiar with the place) - and also somewhat interesting.
Also, as we sat in front of the stage to witness the event, I noticed something interesting. In such events, there are often three groups of people. First be those behind the stage, the ones who planned and managed the event. Second are those who sit in front of the stage - the ones who attend the event to gain information. And finally the third group - the ones ON the stage - the ones who are there to give out information by being interviewed/giving a speech.
Excluding the school/college times, I have experienced two of the above roles - the one behind and the one in front. As I said excluding the days I stood on stage for school/college events, for a moment during the draw ceremony on Monday I wondered if there would be a day I get to experience the third role in a real big event.
But of course I don't expect anything as I have learned that fortuitous events are the ones that have made me big - not really big yet, just bigger than nothing - by opening the doors to a whole lot of opportunities outside.
Anyway, back to the draw ceremony, it was a really unexpected chance for me(or specifically Badzine International) to be invited to witness a live draw for the World Champs. Thanks to our very good editor/friend of Badzine who now works at the BWF for the invitation.

That list on top, is an instantly printed list of the draw. Cool, eh!
Either way, I now have a wild dream to witness an Olympic draw! Gahaha! :D
Till my next update, stay happy! :)
P.S
I was welcomed warmly by Rexy as I arrived at the venue for registration. It was nice to see him again after some time. I had an odd feeling that he was like my manager as he started to introduce me and Solibad (and himself as the ambassador) to the other journalists. Ha!
