Perhaps I should remember this day.
After several No's I've received from some universities, today, there was a Yes. I don't feel exceptionally happy or excited, though, and that might be odd. Probably that's because I've never expected myself to be doing this degree at this particular uni; at least not after I got enrolled at college for my diploma programme.
After getting a definite No last week, I've been out applying for other courses at other unis. Now, I'll list them down and see if I get any feedbacks on that. I shall not name the unis yet, though.
Private universities:
- BA (Hons) International Communication Studies
- Bachelor of Mass Communication (Hons)
- BSc (Hons) Psychology
Public universities:
- BA English Language
- BA Foreign Language (French)
- BA Foreign Language (Mandarin)
- BA English Literature
One of the above was the Yes I received today. I think it's good and mum says to just go for it without waiting for the other unis to answer. I think it's acceptable, because the uni was actually my dream university since I was in Form 2 (until before I got enrolled at the ex-college, like I said).
However, I'm slightly worried that I might regret for making a decision so quickly. The major itself shouldn't be a problem, I think, as it's quite general in a way that almost every field needs someone with such skill/knowledge. But then again, I never really thought I'd be doing this.
Anyway, I guess by now I've already made it obvious enough that a few of you might have guessed the course I was accepted into. But for now, I'll stop here and keep the answer for the next entry, while I ponder over this matter for the moment.
So which one are you going for?
