End of the First Semester

Finals ended on Tuesday, and there went the end of my first semester as a psychology undergrad. How's that? Pretty fast eh?

I have a few things to share.

TOPIK results
Firstly, TOPIK results was released on the day after the first day of finals. I never thought I'd be thaaat nervous, but apparently I felt more nervous than when I went to receive my SPM results. Thank goodness, I did fine.

Grammar & Vocab: 100; Writing: 84; Listening: 100; Reading: 93.
Overall: 377/400 = 94.25%
I passed, and achieved level two at one go! Not above 95%, but I guess I should be happy with it.

Petting Zoo trip
It's quite 'interesting' that we're visiting the zoo as university students. But since we're psychology students, and our pet behavioural studies lecturer suggested to bring us there, it was understandable. People who study animals do visit zoos anyway.

So, I entered Sunway Lagoon after at least six years since the last time I went there (although I often cross Sunway Lagoon from the top through our uni's canopy walk). It was... a really tiring day. It rained, too. But I'm glad, because I finally bought a transparent umbrella which I've been longing to buy since a long time ago. :)

Random
Basically, finals wasn't too tough, as my assignment marks were not too bad. An old friend whose finals ended the week before I started mine said finals week passes really slowly. But to me, it seemed to have flew by; probably because I only started revision the day before every paper, and time flies when you're rushing and don't have enough time already.

Such a joke. That became the earliest I've started revision for a subject ever, in
my life. Luckily the paper on the next day wasn't one that required lots of revision.
I really want to get rid of my laziness and my bad habit of never-ending procrastination, but I never seem to succeed. I guess while studying for finals, I came up with a reason - or an was it an excuse - to do last minute study. Ebbinghaus and the forgetting curve - makes perfect sense why I study last minute, on the night before most papers. Well, at least it makes sense to me. I guess it works best for me too.
 ------ ------
I've been thinking if I should close my blog. I believe not many people actually come here for updates anymore, now that I'm much more active on Twitter. I guess I won't close it, but I might not be updating as frequently

My tabletop plant named Young Saeng (영생, 永生). :)
I noticed how people grow out of blogging. Probably too many other things in life is keeping us busy now that we've grown up. But blogging, to me, is a way I keep track of my past. I noticed how my memory is deteriorating already.

People say we begin to age when we're above 20 years of age. I guess it's about time, but I'm not complaining. I'm forever young. :D
